Fostering Opioid Impacted Infants

Fostering Opioid Impacted Infants

One of the heart-breaking aspects of America’s opioid epidemic is its impact on foster care – especially when it comes to babies whose mothers used the drugs during pregnancy. In one Pennsylvania community, KidsPeace Foster Care is working to bring answers and hope to foster parents and healthcare workers caring for opioid-impacted infants.  On this episode of our podcast series, learn more about this effort and the challenges of caring for these youngest victims of the opioid crisis. Bob Martin hosts.

Guests: Heather Moore (PA Eastern Regional Manager, KidsPeace Foster Care and Community Programs); Megan Craig (KidsPeace foster parent, Doylestown, PA)
