Partners in Hope: Knoebels Amusement Resort Honors Foster Families in Pennsylvania
For more than twenty years, Knoebels has partnered with KidsPeace Foster Care and Community Programs Pennsylvania to celebrate family, inclusion, and hope alongside KidsPeace foster families and associates. Each year, our foster families are invited to Elysburg, PA to visit the Knoebels Amusement Resort and enjoy a carefree day at the park – a chance to laugh, play, and create lasting memories together.
What began years ago with just the Bloomsburg foster care office has now grown into a statewide tradition including all KidsPeace Pennsylvania foster care offices, with Knoebels generously donating hundreds of tickets and ride passes for children and families. Thanks to generosity, this day has become a highlight for many of our families.
In recent years, the celebration has expanded to include a catered picnic, giving KidsPeace the opportunity not only to provide a fun-filled day for the children, but also to honor and thank our foster parents for the love, stability, and care they provide every day.

To the children and families we serve, the day is more than just an outing – it is a chance to build joyful memories, strengthen family bonds, and celebrate the heart of our mission to give hope, help, and healing.
